Walking on Dry Land
But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.
(Exodus 14: 29, NIV)-
Have you ever been to the ocean and watched a wave come to shore? After it retreats, what is left is wet, squishy sand that comes up in-between your toes as you walk along the shore. I have always wondered about the verse in Exodus that tells us that the Israelites walked through the Red Sea on dry land. How did that happen? What was it like to have been there? What did they see and hear? How did the water pull back? And how in the world did the land become dry?
I like to approach life with that same type of wonder and hope you will experience a taste of this here on this blog.
